Do you want to start practicing Yoga but feel intimidated or nervous about going to a studio for the first time, or does your busy schedule prevent you from attending classes at a studio?  My home yoga sessions could be the perfect solution for you and provide you with the undivided attention that you need.

I travel to your home with a yoga mat and props, ready to guide you through poses, breathwork and meditation tailored to suit your individual needs and level.  Private sessions give the opportunity to check your alignment, make gentle corrections to prevent injury, ensure each pose is performed correctly for maximum benefit and work on specific poses or areas of focus like flexibility, strength, balance, or stress relief.

Yoga is an excellent activity for people of all fitness levels, even those who say they are not flexible.  Many people avoid Yoga because they assume they need to already be flexible to do the poses which is a misconception.  Someone who is new to Yoga can start a gentle beginners practice focusing on basic poses that gently lengthen the muscles and helps improve flexibility over time through safe stretching.  With regular practice, you will start to notice your body becoming more supple and mobile.  I provide modifications for poses and use props such as blocks and straps so students can work at their own level.

My goal with every private session is to help students leave feeling more confident, stronger, centred, and more connected to their mind-body awareness.  Home Yoga becomes a transformative, personal journey for each of my students.
